Ingredients for Stuffed Bread lollipops:
- 6 Atta bread slices.
- As required Aloo Bhujia or Bikaneri Bhujia or sesame for outer coating.
- 1 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup.
- For Stuffing:.
- 22 medium Potatoes (Instead of Potatoes, Paneer can also be used for diabetics).
- 1 pinch Asafoetida or Hing.
- 2 Green Chillies chopped finely.
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder.
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala.
- 1 inch Grated Ginger.
- Handful Coriander leaves finely chopped.
- As per taste Salt.
- For Batter:.
- 1/4 cup Gram Flour (Besan).
- 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain Seeds.
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon Chaat masala.
Step by step how to cook Stuffed Bread lollipops:
- Let us prepare the stuffing first. Boil the potatoes and peel them. Be careful that potatoes are not over boiled otherwise they will turn mushy. Add all the masalas to the potatoes and mix them well. Now the stuffing is ready. Paneer and other vegetables like carrots and peas can also be added to the filling to make it more nutritious..
- Trim the edges of the all bread slices. (Tip: You can use any bread of your choice, but the bread should be fresh and soft) Flatten all the trimmed bread slices as shown in the picture Spread tomato ketchup on one side of the flatten bread slice..
- Apply the mashed potato filling nicely on the slice. Apply a thin layer and do not over stuff. Roll the bread slice slowly and carefully making it into a roll. Roll another flattened plain bread slice to give it a smooth texture..
