Ingredients for Indian Style Eggless Ragi Waffles-:

  1. Waffles.
  2. 1 cup Wheat flour/Atta.
  3. 1/2 cup Finger millet flour/ Ragi atta.
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
  5. Pinch salt.
  6. 4 Powder of cardamoms.
  7. 4 tablespoons melted clarified butter/ghee.
  8. 1/2 tablespoon melted clarified butter/ghee for roasting waffles.
  9. 1/2 cup powdered jaggery.
  10. 1 1/2 cups buttermilk.
  11. Garnish.
  12. slices Some Banana.
  13. as needed Few Cherries.
  14. Chocolate sauce.
  15. 2 tablespoons chopped dark chocolate.
  16. 1 tablespoon fresh cream.
  17. 1/2 teaspoon oil.

Step by step how to cook Indian Style Eggless Ragi Waffles-:

  1. In a large bowl sieve all the dry ingredients that is; wheat flour, ragi flour, baking powder and salt. Mix cardamom powder to sifted mixture..
  2. In a jar add buttermilk, melted 4 tbsp ghee and jaggery. Mix until combined..
  3. Mix wet and dry ingredients, very lightly careful not to overmix..
  4. Switch on a toaster..
  5. Once toaster is ready, grease it with some melted ghee using brush..
  6. Add 1/8 cup batter in the toaster. Close and let brown and cook..
  7. Flip to the other side placing in such way that you get cross marks over the waffles..
  8. In a small bowl add cream and chopped chocolate, microwave for 30 seconds. Mix till chocolate has melted add oil. Pour in a piping bag and pipe to decorate..
  9. Decorate with chocolate sauce, fruits and serve.
