Ingredients for Keema Khichdi:

  1. 250 gm Keema.
  2. 1 cup rice.
  3. 1 cup roasted Moong dal.
  4. 1 onion finely chopped.
  5. 1 finely chopped green chilli.
  6. 1 tsp chopped ginger.
  7. 1 tsp chopped garlic.
  8. 1 tomato finely chopped.
  9. 1 tsp turmeric powder.
  10. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
  11. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
  12. 1 stick cinnamon stick.
  13. 3 green cardamom seeds.
  14. 1/2 tsp cumin powder.
  15. 1 tsp coriander powder.
  16. 1 tsp whole cumin seeds.
  17. 2 bay leaves.
  18. to taste Salt.
  19. 1/4 tsp sugar.
  20. 3 tsp oil.
  21. 2 tsp ghee.

Step by step how to cook Keema Khichdi:

  1. Heat a kadhai add oil then add cumin seeds,bay leaves,whole garam masala,then add finely chopped onions saute for few minutes,,.
  2. Then add finely chopped ginger and garlic saute for few minutes then add mutton keema and other dry spices cook it in a low medium flame for about 15 minutes then add.
  3. Finely chopped tomatoes cook it for few minutes then add washed rice and dal mix it then add water,salt and sugar cover it cook it for 20 minutes in a low medium flame or till it’s done.. serve hot with a tsp of ghee.,.
