Ingredients for Smoky Tawa Grilled Chicken:
- 250 gms Boneless chicken.
- 100 grams Hung curd.
- to taste Salt.
- 2 tablespoon Green chilli paste.
- 1 tbsp Fresh coriander paste.
- 2 tbsp Garlic, ginger paste.
- 1 tsp Lemon zest (for freshness).
- 1 tbsp Mustard oil.
- 2 Capsicums (cut into squares).
- 2 Onions (cut into squares).
Step by step how to cook Smoky Tawa Grilled Chicken:
- Mix all the ingredients in bowl..
- Add the chicken pieces and mix well.
- Add the capsicums and onions into the bowl.
- Marinate the chicken over night or at least 4hours.
- Arrange the chicken, capsicums and onions in skewers.
- Place a tawa onto the gas stove.
- Drizzle little oil.
- When the tawa is hot, place the skewers onto the tawa.
- Turn in between for even cooking...
- When the chicken gets tender,it is done...
- For smoky flavour,place a small metal bowl on the tawa(with the grilled chicken).
- Heat a piece of charcoal,when it is hot,put it into the metal bowl,add a spoon of ghee to it.
- As soon as ghee is added,there will be smoke..
- Cover the tawa, with a lid..
- Leave it for sometime..
