Ingredients for Daal Palak waffles with grilled Paneer:

  1. 1/2 cup green whole moong daal.
  2. 1/2 cup yellow moong daal.
  3. 1/4 cup rice.
  4. to taste Salt and red chilli powder.
  5. 1 tsp paste of ginger and chilli.

Step by step how to cook Daal Palak waffles with grilled Paneer:

  1. Soak both the daals and rice separately at night Grind all three in the morning with minimum of water..
  2. Cleans spinach leaves and blanch them soft..
  3. Mix everything to make a batter and add salt, chilli powder and paste of ginger and chilli to the batter.Give it a nice mix And keep aside for ten minutes..
  4. By then grease & pre heat your waffle maker..
  5. Cut paneer in any shape with a cutter and keep it on a greased grill pan Let it grill the way you like it..
  6. Once the waffle maker is hot, pour the batter and let it cook. Remove and place the savory waffle on a plate with the piece of paneer on it..
  7. Serve it hot accompanied by some salad and garnished with your favorite chutney.
  8. I have used yogurt based mint chutney and ketchup.
  9. Tada a healthy breakfast is ready.
