- 3/4 teaspoon unflavored gelatin.
- 2 tablespoon cold water.
- 1 3/4 cup cold heavy cream.
- 1/3 cup confectioner's sugar.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- 1/2 cup strawberry puree, directions for this in direction step #1.
Step by step how to cook Fresh Strawberry Whipped Cream:
- You will need about a 1/2 pint container of fresh strawberries. Stem and slice them, place in a food processor and puree to a slightly chunky puree.

- Dissolve gelatin in the cold water in a heatproof bowl for 5 minutes.
- Heat a small skillet with simmering water, add bowl of gelatin and stir until dissolved. Turn off heat and let it sit in warm water until ready to use.
- Beat cream to soft peaks, add confectioner's sugar and vanilla and beat until it holds its shape.
- Fold in strawberry puree until well combined.
