Ingredients for Greek Burgers w/yogurt sauce:

  1. Patty Mix.
  2. 1 lb ground lamb *or lean ground beef.
  3. 1/2 cup cooked spinach, squeezed dry and chilled.
  4. 1/2 cup feta cheese.
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced.
  6. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano, dill, and parsley.
  7. 2 teaspoons ground cumin.
  8. 1 egg yolk.
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne.
  10. Yogurt Sauce.
  11. 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt.
  12. 1/4 cup chopped cucumber.
  13. 1 tablespoon honey.
  14. 1 teaspoon lemon zest.
  15. Juice of 1 lemon.
  16. 1 teaspoon chopped dill.
  17. 1 teaspoon chopped mint.
  18. to taste Salt and pepper.
  19. Serve With.

  1. Combine all patty mix ingredients in a bowl. Do not over work the mix..
  2. Form four patties and refrigerate 10-15 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil on a medium high heat skillet, cook burgers 3-5 minutes per side to desired doneness. *if using bison DO NOT cook beyond medium or it will be dry!.
  4. Served drizzled with yogurt sauce.
